Classical Journal

JSTORThrough a special arrangement with JSTOR, the Classical Association of the Middle West and South, Inc. (CAMWS) is pleased to offer its members the opportunity to purchase individual web access to all of the back issues of The Classical Journal stored in the JSTOR database. Access will permit full-text searches of every issue of CJ from its inaugural year (1905) up to 3 years prior to the current year.

The annual cost of an individual account with JSTOR is just $10. We encourage CAMWS members who do not have access to JSTOR through their school libraries to consider this inexpensive option. You may sign up for an account at any time during the CAMWS fiscal year (July 1 to June 30), but all accounts for 2008-09 will expire on June 30, 2009, and then need to be renewed for the 2009-10 fiscal year.

To purchase individual web access, simply complete the form and submit it with a check for $10 to the CAMWS office. You may also pay with a credit card. Secure credit card payments for this site are handled by Paypal.com. A handling fee of $3.00 will be added to your order to cover the fees for this service.

If you are not a current member of CAMWS, you will first need to join the association. In purchasing access to CJ, CAMWS members agree that they will use the database for their personal use only and will not share their user name, password, or access with other individuals or institutions.

New! As part of JSTOR’s continuing efforts to help the scholarly community take advantage of technological innovations, we are pleased to introduce several new exciting features to enhance searching and browsing within the JSTOR archive for individual subscribers to the Classical Journal. These features include linking enhancements, improved PDF delivery and search term highlighting. We hope that you will find these new features a welcome benefit to your research.
