Here are the photos for TJCL 2009. Our delegation won first place overall and in spirit for Class A. I would encourage all of my colleagues teaching Latin at the secondary level to join CAMWS and take advantage of all of our programs in place to support Latin in our region, such as the CPL grants and the CAMWS Latin Translation Contest. CAMWS really helped energize my program by making convention attendance an opportunity to my students. Now that the students have a vision of what the future of our program can become, I am expecting both enrollment in Latin and membership in our Latin club to increase.
